The path to change is never easy. Get someone beside you to encourage and cheer you on, however, and the task becomes easier. Through strategic questions, advice, encouragement, and challenge, a financial coach gives you the support you need to make progress and crush your goals!
According to a 2017 CareerBuilder survey, 78% of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck, and 66% couldn’t cover a $1,000 emergency. You don’t have to live with that kind of stress. You don’t have to be ‘normal’!
What does the coaching process look like?
We will start with looking at your current financial situation, dreams, and goals. Using our 5-Step Coaching Process, we'll examine the behaviors and habits that have led to your current situation, then help you to develop a roadmap forward with the milestones, strategies, and next steps to reach your goals. We don't just tell you what to do and leave you to figure it out. We act as an accountability partner, encouraging and challenging you throughout the process.
What will I need to invest?
We have multiple packages available to meet the needs of our clients. At our initial complementary consultation, we will get clear on your situation and recommend the option that will best get you to the final destination.
Beyond the financial investment, you will also need to invest the emotional desire to change your financial future and bring hope to your situation. It will take time and intentionality on your part to make the necessary changes. But when you're ready to commit, we'll be with you every step of the way!
Would it be better to work with an accountant or financial advisor?
An accountant will help you file your taxes. A financial advisor will help you invest your money. We as financial coaches help you better steward your money. In addition to the basic mechanics of money management, this includes working with the emotions behind your decision-making, the behavioral habits you’ve developed, and the relationships involved in the process.
What if I'm not ready to make the decision?
We offer financial coaching because we believe it's the quickest path to permanently changing your financial future for the better. Nevertheless, we recognize that not everyone is ready for that kind of commitment. So if you decide not to invest in coaching, we will respect that decision. In the meantime, we aim to provide as much free help, resources, and encouragement as possible to get you started on the path to abundance and blessing.
Where will the consultation and coaching sessions take place?
Zoom is the preferred method of communication for most of our clients. If you indicate when scheduling the consultation that you would like to meet in-person, however, we are based in Elk Grove, CA and will contact you to set up a convenient location.
Will my spouse or significant other need to attend?
It’s difficult to make lasting changes when you and your spouse are not on the same page. As such, we request that if you are married, both you and your spouse attend the consultation and all coaching sessions. We will make exceptions depending on the circumstances, though. Please email us at [email protected] or call us at 916-212-3202 to ask about your specific situation.
